The pedagogy of the oppressed, as a humanist and liberating pedagogy, will have two distinct stages. In the first, the oppressed unveil the world of oppression and through the praxis commit themselves to its transformation. In the second stage, in which the reality of oppression has already been transformed, this pedagogy ceases to be belonging to the oppressed and becomes a pedagogy of all people in the process of permanent liberation.

Be curious. Read widely. Try new things. What people call intelligence just boils down to curiosity.

Without revolutionary theory, there can be no revolutionary movement.

You have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world. And you have to do it all the time.
