I used to take a very long time to start and finish a collage, mainly because I always wanted to create a full scene, with a proper atmosphere and subtext narrative.

Using a small journal, I decided to unpretentiously create without thinking about the final result, allowing myself to glue down some paper whenever I felt like it.

I let my mind work freely and keep gluing paper as I please. The pieces I'm showing below are ephemeral and can still be changed, depending on how I feel on the day I pick up the notebook to work. Experimenting with different aesthetics and reusing everyday paper scrap as materials to give them new meanings is the most fun part. I make these just for fun, for practice, and because creativity hits me hard every once in a while.
